We only procure raw materials from suppliers we know personally. Our quality assurance team visits these companies on a regular basis. We do what goes beyond government options and thus takeover the task of foodstuff supervision for our meat suppliers. We pay attention to origin, age, shelf life, clean storage, treatment of the meat, and hygiene. Similar to the governmental institutions we also assign yellow and red cards. This is how we guarantee our customers utmost safety.
Please pay attention: Only packaging carrying the label Metten or Biggetaler also contains the time-proven quality. Ask your salesclerk at the meat counter for Metten products. Our packaging also carries our distinctive identification number, the so-called EV-number DE EV 356 EG (oval sign) stands for Metten - Prime Meat.
