Metten pork sausage receives an award at the quality competition 2009 of the German Butcher's Trade
Finnentrop. 26.March 2009 - On February 14th and 15th, 2009 this year's quality competition of the North Rhine Westphalian Butcher's Trade was carried out at the school for butcher's in Essen. A total of 364 butchery firms participated in these competitions for the cup for the best pork sausage in North Rhine Westphalia as well as in the quality testing 2009. 231 firms come from North Rhine Westphalia, 130 butcher's shops from all over the rest of the federal territory. In the competition for the pork sausage cup 2009, the Metten Fleischwaren GmbH & Co. KG company from Finnentrop was able to record winning gold for the second time in a row.
