From the small country butcher's shop ...
The small country butcher's shop was taken over by Wilhelm Metten Sr. and founded in Finnentrop opposite the train station on 1st July 1902. More than 100 years later, the butcher’s shop closed down in 2011 and the new Metten factory outlet opened adjacent to the production facility.
A large range of meat and sausage products is being offered on a sales area measuring 400 square metres in direct view over the B 236 road. Metten's outlet store also offers a self-service area for chilled and ambient goods, a varied lunch menu and a snack bar in addition to sales at the service counter. Private households and bulk consumers will also find second hand goods with minor defects and special items as well as original products with proven Metten quality.

Factory sales management
The factory outlet has been under new management since the summer of 2021. Jörg Buchheister, an experienced master butcher has taken over at the helm of the business.
Mr. Buchheister himself was the owner of a butcher's shop with a branch line before joining Metten. He is therefore particularly familiar with the wishes of the customers and the business processes.

Our factory sales team will be happy to help and are looking forward to your visit. The team prepares fresh meat and sausage products for you every day and ensures that the self-service shelves are always stocked.
We would be happy to advise you personally on the various products over the counter.
